GRIEVANCE & RECONCILIATION PROCEDURE
Wild Heart Meditation Center (WHMC) exists to serve the buddhadharma and nourish the lives of our community members. Buddhist practice creates some vulnerability among practitioners and those who pursue the path must inevitably take some emotional and spiritual risks. In this context, it becomes especially important that the teachers, facilitators and governing structure of WHMC support the welfare of the community members. The Teacher Code of Ethics codifies our expectations for the conduct of all individuals in a teaching role at WHMC. The Grievance Council described here represents our effort to create a mechanism for individuals to express concerns regarding the conduct of teachers, facilitators or institutional policies. The Grievance Council seeks to create a path to resolution consistent with the values of non-harming, compassion, and accountability.
